Part-Time Bookkeeper for QuickBooks Management
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time Bookkeeper to join our team and assist in managing our financial transactions within QuickBooks. This role will support our existing bookkeeper by updating and maintaining our accounts payable, accounts receivable, profit and loss statements, and balance sheet.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly update financial transactions in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information from PayPal, Stripe, and company bank accounts.
- Manage and reconcile sales team commissions recorded on Google Sheets.
- Prepare tutor timetables necessary for processing payroll accurately and on time.
- Assist in generating financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, specifically with QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Experience with online payment platforms like PayPal and Stripe.
- Proficiency in managing commissions and payroll preparation.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
- Expertise in using Google Sheets to manage and reconcile sales commissions effectively.
Work Hours:
- The position requires approximately 5 hours per week, which can be completed in one day based on your schedule flexibility.
