I have an Arduino MKR Zero correctly interfaced with an I2S microphone as per this wiring (https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-i2s-mems-microphone-breakout/arduino-wiring-and-test)

I used this code to record a WAV and the sound is distorted (https://forum.arduino.cc/t/record-sound-in-wav-format-with-arduino-mkr-zero/526761).

The data from the microphone may not be correctly stored in the wav file, as this suggests.

The initial task is as the title suggests: record a 10 second wav file which isn't distorted using this hardware. The arduino code provided in the sample attached produces distorted audio like the wav provided.

This is the beginning of a commercial project proof of concept (ongoing work, further details cannot be provided at this stage).
