Overview:
You will be supporting home-based end users with their Mac and PCs, Android and iOS devices, printers, headsets, webcams, etc.. without much supervision and training,
Job Responsibilities
Provide daily support to home-based users of various computer systems including answering questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to return systems to proper operation.
Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Increase personal technical knowledge by reading articles, operating manuals, and diagnostics information, and attending conferences or seminars when possible.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
*Previous experience working with customers over the phone and guiding them through step-by-step instructions to resolve a broad range of IT-related issues
*At least one certification or equivilant work experience background with Microsoft, OEM support, remote support job role trouble shooting with home based end users.
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances
Working knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems, ChromeOS, all brands of printers and a broad range of peripherals and popular software apps.
*Linux knowledge is a plus
